{2012 Grammys: A Splash of Metal}

Indulge in...

The Grammy's

I think it's safe to say that the Grammy awards was marked by a metallic presence. From the red carpet to the stage, performers and attendees shined a little more than usual. I loved it. I mean, the second I saw Bruno Mars open the show with his golden glitz and big band gig I was sold. Then, being the standout performer that she is, Katy Perry did a good job keeping the vibe going...

I mean, did Hollywood's leading ladies call each other up for a group sesh to discuss who was going to wear which shimmering pieces? There were clearly varying degrees of metal. For starters, let's go with the most shine:

{Wear Your Sunglasses}

Jessie J's Julien Macdonald dress had lovers and haters, but I liked the idea of her walking around like one giant disco ball. Can't say the same for that hair...

Jane Seymour still continues to look fabulous in a glossy yet elegant David Meister gown.

{Make A Statement}

Carrie Underwood looks like a million bucks in anything she puts on her body...but I love the gold accents on this dress!

Rosie and Sophia Grace looked adorable in their shiny dresses while interviewing stars for the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Clearly, Kelly Osbourne has come a long way from the girl she used to be! Shimmering in a Tony Ward dress...was a nice distraction from that hair color.

{A Touch of Metal}

Guiliana Rancic kept it simple but shiny with a fabulous belt...

...but Gwyneth Paltrow's belt was my ultimate favorite!

Rhianna added just enough silver accents to compliment this outfit.

It must be nice to be so gorgeous that you can pull of Bruno Mars' hairdo and wear metal around your neck and still be one sexy mama! Thumbs up for Alecia Keys.

{Complete Overkill}

What the..? Sasha Gradiva needs to jump off the Lady Gaga bandwagon...

But let's not forget who wore metal best last night...

Adele, you go girl!
